Vigil connects people all over the world to collectively participate in vigils at synchronized times. There are two types of vigils, positive thoughts and prayers to God. The positive thoughts vigils are for people that prefer a more non-religious vigil experience, while the prayers to God vigils are for people of all faiths to participate in. Most vigils are under ten minutes long to make it easy for everyone to participate.
During the pandemic, Vigil is holding multiple coronavirus vigils per day to encourage global participation from people of all time zones.
There are 3 weekly vigils:
- World Peace Vigil
- Hunger & Poverty Vigil
- Save The Environment Vigil
Additional vigils will be held for other special causes as they arise.
Private Vigils: The ‘create vigil’ icon allows users to host their own private vigil to invite friends and family to send positive thoughts or prayers for a loved one in need.
There are three private vigil modules:
- Loved one with coronavirus vigil
- Loved one with cancer vigil
- Loved one with sickness vigil
Our vision is to create a world community that bonds together for common causes and support of one another.
